MSA would like to alert you to recent scams involving Tax Rebates, Digital TV, and Telemarketing.  MSA does NOT telemarket.  "If a telemarketer says they are from the Michigan Sheriffs' Association, you should know immediately that he or she is lying," says Terry Jungel, Executive Director of MSA.

     SHERIFFS REBUILD HOME IN NEW ORLEANS

The current issue of the Sheriff's Star features the recent trip to New Orleans by 11 Michigan Sheriffs and several deputies from Michigan.  The Misson was to rebuild a home for a New Orleans Police Officer whose home was damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
