(Q) Is my donation tax deductible?  (A) Yes.  The Michigan Sheriffs' Association is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) organization, and as such, contributions are tax deductible.

(Q) What does the association do for my sheriff/county?  (A) The association provides professional training and education programs that are of value to every county in the state, regardless of the size or location of an individual county.  Virtually all the programs are beyond the resources of a single county.

(Q) What does the association do for me?  (A) The education and training provided by the association impacts the lives of every person in the state by enabling county law enforcement to better serve and protect everyone in the state.

(Q) Where is MSA located?  (A) 515 N Capitol Ave. Lansing MI  48933

(Q) In a mailing I recently received, why was the address for MSA, a P.O. Box in Grand Rapids?  (A) To safeguard our donations, the address in Grand Rapids is our bank's secure lockbox.

(Q) Why can't I find you on guidestar?  (A) MSA does not subscribe to guidestar.

(Q) How do I get my name off of your list?  (A) Please contact MSA to be removed from our mailing list and the National Direct Marketing Association to be removed from the national direct mail lists.
