The Michigan Sheriffs' Association was founded in 1877 and is the oldest law enforcement organization in the state. For over 130 years the Michigan Sheriffs' Association has been a leader in providing training and services to the Office of Sheriff and your community. The Michigan Sheriffs' Association is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization compromised of elected Michigan Sheriffs and citizen and business members from across the state. Join Today! John F Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University recently
recognized the Michigan Sheriffs' Association STOPPED
(Sheriffs Telling Our Parents and Promoting Educated Drivers) Teen
Driving Program as a Bright Idea Recipient.
